We can call this year's Utility test a great
success. Perhaps because the weather did not cooperate at all attendance was
somehow low. That however had little influence on nice performance of both,
dogs and handlers. Regardless of strong wind together with rain, three out of
six dogs achieved prize 1.
Five shorthairs and one wirehair worked hard under
the watchful eye of Guelph's chapter judge Don Vanderlip and two American
judges. To everyone's surprise,12 year old Sarah Mast and her GSP Diamond came
to the top under such bad conditions. Sarah by the way was this year's winner of
our chapter chukar shoot that took place back in May.
Thanks to everybody who came to help and
watch.
